I'm Daria; the founder of Inkwaves and the artist behind its identity.
My StoryI was born in Ukraine and spent about 20 years there before life took me somewhere else. After studying business management, I moved to Lebanon, where I discovered art, travel, and eventually tattooing.
What started as curiosity became the thing that changed my life.
Since then, I've tattooed in Germany, Poland, Belgium, and Egypt. Meeting people from different cultures shaped the way I see beauty, connection, and self-expression. It taught me to notice quiet details, and to value what feels personal and real.
Since 2024, Montréal has been home. It's where Inkwaves became a studio, and where this next chapter is unfolding.
My style lives somewhere between precision and softness.
I specialize in fine line and botanical tattoos, creating pieces that feel delicate, organic, and intentional. I’m drawn to natural forms, soft shading, subtle movement, and compositions that flow naturally with the body.
I love tattoos that feel personal. The kind that quietly become part of you.
Every design is unique. Sometimes it’s built around a story or a symbol, sometimes just a feeling you want to carry with you. For me, meaning matters just as much as aesthetics.
Softness, to me, is its own kind of strength. A choice to be intentional.
Outside of tattooing, I’m also a mom of a teenage son, a fantasy book addict, a mint tea lover, and someone who will never say no to beautiful nature, interesting conversations, or discovering new cuisines.
I care deeply about every tattoo I create and every person who trusts me with their skin.
My goal is always the same: to create something that feels like you.
