Join us for a cozy herbal tea blending workshop where you'll explore medicinal herbs through taste, aroma, and hands on creativity. Learn about herbs that support relaxation, digestion, focus, and everyday wellness while discovering their traditional uses and unique qualities.
You'll have the opportunity to smell, taste, and work with a variety of herbs before creating and taking home your own custom tea blend. Perfect for beginners and anyone curious about herbalism.
All materials are provided, though bringing a notebook is recommended.
Introduction to Pointed Pen Calligraphy

Explore the world of pointed pen calligraphy!
This hands-on workshop is specifically designed for beginners and no prior calligraphy experience is required. The evening will include an overview of the essential tools and materials, as well as the basic strokes and construction of lowercase letterforms. Students will receive a name card calligraphed by Joy, as well as a mini supply kit to take home. The supply kit includes a pen holder, pointed nib, small pot of walnut ink, practice paper and exemplars.
As a special bonus, students are invited to submit a page of their practice work to Joy for personal feedback, up to one month following this workshop.
